Prepared for SIL 503 Technology for Social Good

MSIL Resource Hub

Grants, fellowships, paid roles, newsletters, centers and tools for students in the MA in Social Impact Leadership. Every entry links to the office or organization that runs it, which is the place to confirm deadlines and eligibility. Entries were checked against those pages on 12 October 2026.

Search and match

Describe your project or what you are looking for in a sentence or two, and an AI model picks entries and says why each one fits.

Tip: mention the population or place, the kind of support (money, a paid role, training, people to talk to) and your timeline. Suggestions come only from the entries on this page; read the linked page before you apply.

Upcoming deadlines

Application dates in the next ten weeks. Some offices run several rounds a year; each tile shows the next one.

    U-M opportunities

Funding and paid roles offered by University of Michigan offices. "Open" means the office's page names graduate students in any school, SSW or MSIL. "Likely" means it is open to U-M students and does not exclude graduate students. "Check" means the rules leave room for doubt, often because the program runs past a two-semester degree. Funds that only student organizations or faculty teams can apply for are not listed.

    Beyond U-M

Fellowships, job boards and professional networks run by organizations outside the university.

    Resources

Newsletters worth subscribing to, U-M centers and services, and outside publications, data tools, practice guides and conferences.
